Japanese Cos. explore students’ placements at Amity University

Leaders from Japan’s industry and academia visit Amity Noida to discuss collaborations and student placement opportunities.

NOIDA, India – A Japanese Delegation comprising of Kenji Koizumi, Head of Kasumigaseki Division, JTB Corp., Isamu Koyama, Chief Executive Officer 136LLC, Iimuro Daisuke, General Manager DNP Planning Network Co., Ltd., Ayumi Hosoi, Director Nichiei International Incorporated., Tatsuru Kobayashi, Chief Technology Officer Nichiei International Incorporated., Haruo Okamura, Chief Executive Officer Global Plan Inc. and many others visited Amity University Noida campus.

Their visit aimed to discuss the potential areas of academic collaboration and explore opportunities for student placements.

Sharing his extreme pleasure on visiting Amity University, Kenji Koizumi, Head of Kasumigaseki Division, JTB Corp, averred, “We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome by Amity University. We are highly impressed by the students’ curiosity, ambition, and a strong academic foundation provided by Amity. We look forward to nurturing future leaders who can contribute to the development of both countries.”

Welcoming the delegates, Dr Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, said, “India and Japan have a robust strategic partnership, encompassing defence, trade, technology, and infrastructure, which has strengthened over the years. We are delighted to host the esteemed Japanese delegates from various organisations at Amity, and we aim to provide a platform to our students to gain cultural and professional insights, thereby preparing them for successful careers in Japan’s corporate landscape.”

Addressing the guests, Dr Anjani K. Bhatnagar, Additional Director & Head Amity Technical Placement Centre, said, “Today marks a historic moment as we welcome our esteemed Japanese Delegates to Amity University Noida campus. We aim to strengthen our partnership and explore opportunities which are mutually beneficial for us.”

During the visit, the delegation took a round of the Amity campus, including the Central Library, Amity Innovation Incubator, Amity Centre for Artificial Intelligence and other prominent facilities.

In addition, representatives of various Japanese Companies presented an overview of their company and the HOIs and scientists of Amity, introduced themselves and highlighted the various programmes offered by Amity University.
