Author Talk on ‘Trend Korea 2026’ to Be Held at Korean Embassy in New Delhi
Seoul National University’s Professor Kim Nan-do to deliver special lecture on navigating the AI era.
New Delhi: A special author talk on the theme “Trend Korea 2026” will be held at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in New Delhi on March 1, bringing together members of the Korean community, scholars, and trend watchers for an exclusive knowledge-sharing session.
The event will feature Professor Kim Nan-do, emeritus professor at Seoul National University and one of Korea’s most influential trend analysts. Widely known as the lead author of the bestselling Trend Korea series, Kim will share insights into emerging global and Korean societal trends, with a focus on how individuals and organisations can adapt in the era of rapid AI transformation.
Titled An Evening of Gratitude, the session will run from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the embassy premises and will include a lecture, interactive exchange and a book signing session. The talk will explore the central question: how societies should respond and evolve amid accelerating technological shifts driven by artificial intelligence.
The programme is being organised by IBS (India Biz Solution) in collaboration with the Korean Embassy and Korean community stakeholders. Attendance is limited, with participation expected from members of the Korean diaspora, professionals, and cultural observers interested in Korea’s evolving socio-economic landscape.
Professor Kim has authored several editions of the Trend Korea series, which has gained a strong following across Asia for its sharp analysis of consumer behaviour, generational shifts and future-forward thinking. His works frequently appear in Korean media, including KBS and tvN, and are regarded as key references for understanding Korea’s cultural and economic direction.
The New Delhi lecture is expected to deepen intellectual and cultural exchanges between India and Korea, while offering audiences a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of Korea’s foremost public intellectuals on the future of trends in the AI-driven world.
