An AJU team led by its founder Prakash Yadav visited Japan not only to study various Japanese restaurants in Tokyo but also to source Tatami mats, crockery, and other material required for the setting up of NAGOMI restaurant.

“Dining sushi and other Japanese cuisines while sitting along the Kaiten-zushi (回転寿司), the sushi train is an experience in itself. It’s an essential ingredient especially in Kaiten-zushi restaurants in Japan. As we wanted to give our visitors the very authentic taste of Japanese fine dining including sushi experience, we decided to import the material from there,” said Prakash Yadav.

Tatami mats were especially made-to-order from a vendor in Asakusa, Tokyo while crockery was sourced from the famous Karabasi market in Tokyo.
