FUKUOKA/NEW DELHI: The world of India and Japan descends on Fukuoka, Japan that is hosting virtual Namaste Japan Fest and streaming it live on various digital media platforms on Saturday, March 20 at 9.30 am (IST) and 1.00 pm (JST).

Being organized this time on virtual platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Google Meet, and Zoom by the Japan-based Fukuoka Overseas Student Association (FOSA) and Namaste Japan Fest Executive Committee, it is the 3^rd edition and is starting on March 20.

The organisations and personalities who are supporting this mega event include Fukuoka International Exchange Foundation Managing Director Mr. Akihiko Fukushima, Japan Foundation Director-General Mr. Koji Sato, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Delhi Office Executive Director Yasuke Yamamoto, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII), Secretary-General Mr. Kenzi Sugino, CHOYA CO.LTD. Chief of India Market Mr. Shinji Inaba, Fukuoka Foreign Language College Chairman Mr. Hitoshi Iwamoto, Hakata Goryon Josei Organization President Ms. Nishikawa, Asia Japanese Academy Chairman Mr. Katsumi Tsukamoto, Asian Community News (ACN) Network Chief editor & Founder Mr. Sanjeev K Ahuja.

The virtual Namaste Japan Fest event would have programmes around calligraphy, origami, Japanese Kimono & Yukata, Suji, Rice Ball Making, etc.

These events and artists from India and Japan include Cultural Experience Kimono, Yukata, Origami, Calligraphy, and Rice Ball & Green Tea Making, Live Video 5Mintues, Harica Naomi dance, Delhi Public School Students Performance followed by Organization, colleges introduction, FISSC.

The video appearance would include Hiroko san Dance and song, Harica Naomi Dance, Miyazaki Kyoko , Japanese Song, Monica san Japanese Dance, Muta San & Ono san, and Talk by All International students & Japanese (Team Sonal from India) by Japanese and Dondaku vid.
