Seek legal mediation rather than filing suit: Justice Mehta

Gurugram: “The importance of legal mediation is the need of an hour to make a substantial change in Indian Judiciary system,” said Justice M.L Mehta, Former Delhi High Court Judge while inaugurating the International Conference on ‘Spectrum of Opportunities in 2020 – Management and Legal Era’, organized by School of Management and Commerce and School of Legal Studies at K R Mangalam University, Gurugram.

Prof. Aditya Malik, the Vice-Chancellor, addressed the gathering by adopting an integrated approach to create a link amongst technology, innovation, and humanity to resolve conflicting interests of nature and mankind by thinking out of the box. HE focused on the dissemination of knowledge and inspiration to serve humanity.

Prof. Sudhanshu Rai, Copenhagen Business School, discussed innovation in emerging economies in terms of its history, a thin line difference between invention and innovation and its application in the industrial production system.

Dr. Poulomi Bhadra, Assistant Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences insisted on integrating applied sciences in legal education right from classrooms to courtrooms. She explained the Indian version of innovation and held that religion-science-innovation accommodates each other in the Indian model of innovation.

Prof. (Dr.) Pankaj K. Aggarwal, Prof. and Dean IMS, Ghaziabad; Dr. Renu Verma, Associate Professor, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi; Prof. Pradeep Kulsheshtra, Dean, School of Law, Sharda University and Prof. Lallan Prasad, Executive President of Kautilya Foundation, Delhi were main speakers in the conference.

More than 100 papers were presented by research scholars and faculty members in the conference.
