2nd Bengaluru–Andhra Pradesh Korean Golf Tournament Concludes Successfully, Strengthening Community Bonds

Bengaluru – On February 7, 2026, the 2nd Bengaluru–Andhra Pradesh Korean Golf Tournament was held with great success in Bengaluru, India’s leading technology hub. The event drew a total of 122 participants, including 90 golfers and their families, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere.
2026년 2월 7일 토요일, 인도의 주요 기술 허브인 벵갈루루에서 ‘제2회 벵갈루루·안드라프라데시 한인 골프대회’가 성황리에 개최되었습니다. 이번 행사는 골프 참가자 90명과 가족들을 포함해 총 122명이 참석하여 성황을 이뤘습니다.
The presence of the Consul General in Chennai and the General Manager of Prestige Golfshire elevated the prestige of the tournament, while also highlighting the strong unity within the Korean community in southern India. Notably, this was the first major event organized since the reorganization of the Korean Association, serving as an important platform to strengthen networks among community members.
주첸나이 총영사와 프레스티지 골프샤이어 총지배인(GM)의 참석은 행사의 격을 높였으며, 인도 남부 한인 사회의 강한 결속력을 보여주었습니다. 특히 이번 대회는 한인회 재조직 이후 열린 첫 주요 행사로, 교민들 간의 네트워크를 강화하는 중요한 플랫폼 역할을 했습니다.
Thanks to sponsorship from local Indian companies and numerous Korean businesses, the tournament was conducted at a high standard. Many sponsors also pledged continued support for future events, positioning the tournament as an expanding platform that connects Korea and India.
또한, 현지 인도기업 및 많은 한국기업의 후원을 통해서 수준높은 대회가 진행되었으며, 많은 기업들이 다음 행사에도 후원을 약속하여, 한국과 인도를 연결하는 플랫폼으로도 확장 운영될 예정입니다.
Participants shared the joy of unity through sports, and the Bengaluru–Andhra Pradesh Korean Association announced plans to build on this success by organizing more diverse events to foster communication and development within the Korean community.
