Japanese delegation explores business opportunities in India

New Delhi. A delegation of young Japanese investors and businessmen recently visited India to explore the possibilities of infusing Japanese investment and set up collaborative ventures here.

Led by Indo-Japanese affairs expert Ramesh Sharma, the delegation not only met with the top Indian ministers, it also interacted with the potential business associates in New Delhi.

The Japanese delegation included Hoshi Takayuki, President of Saver Group of Companies, Keisuke Fukuda, CEO of LBS Whitening, Genki Yamaguchi, CEO of Dr. Training and Atsushi Okamoto, CEO of My Style Company.

Hoshi Takayuki who led the Japanese delegation is an expert on mergers and acquisition (M&A). Takayuki said that India has huge potential for working with Japanese companies, and his company was looking for investors from India to work together

Ramesh Sharma, the founder, and managing director of Sakura Corporate Solutions which is into consultation services for foreign nationals said that all the delegation members were aged between 30 and 35 and were beaming with new business ideas for working in India.

“They all are successful businessmen in Japan and are now looking for expansion opportunities in India. For this, they met with Union minister of human resource development, Ramesh Pokhryal ‘Nishank’ at his office in New Delhi. Some members also met with L. Jayanta Kumar Singh, the cabinet minister Health, Family Welfare, Law & Legislative Affairs of Manipur,” said Sharma.

Sharma is also the president and founder InBizCo, a platform for the businessmen to expand their businesses across the border especially in Japan.

“The Japanese delegation also interacted with the InBizCo members to discuss business opportunities during a meeting held at Uttrakhand Bhawan in New Delhi. It was a very effective meeting as the InBizCo members discussed several key opportunities of tie-ups and collaborations with the Japanese counterparts,” Sharma added.

Hoshi Takayuki, the mergers and acquisition (M&A) expert is also a spiritual individual. He also visited Kumbakonam Temple in Chennai.

Keisuke Fukuda, CEO of LBS Whitening, which is into dental care has set up a franchisee in Manipur and has plans to set up 10 more such units in India. His very next franchisee is likely to come up in New Delhi soon.

Dr. Training that has over 100 units in Japan has plans to expand its footprint in India too.
