LUNA ARTS to Present ‘METAMORPHOSIS Edition 2’ at Lokayata Art Gallery in New Delhi
March 28 to 31: A four-day contemporary group exhibition will showcase surrealistic paintings and sculptures by 22 artists from across India, with live Indian classical music at the opening ceremony.
New Delhi: Luna Arts will present “METAMORPHOSIS Edition 2,” a contemporary group art exhibition, from March 28 to 31, 2026, at the Lokayata Art Gallery in New Delhi. Conceived as an exhibition of surrealistic contemporary visual art, the four-day show will feature paintings and sculptures by 22 artists from across India, offering visitors what the organisers describe as a visual and soulful journey that encourages viewers to see both the objective and subjective world differently.
The upcoming exhibition will mark Luna Arts’ 20th group art exhibition in the National Capital, underlining the Noida-based registered art venture’s growing presence in the National Capital Region’s cultural landscape. Luna Arts is known for organising art exhibitions and photography exhibitions across the NCR.
The inauguration ceremony of METAMORPHOSIS Edition 2 will be held on March 28, 2026, at 5 PM. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr Kiran Walia as the Chief Guest. Dr Walia is a senior politician and member of the Indian National Congress, a former professor of Political Science at Delhi University, and has also served as Minister of Women and Child Development, Social Welfare Department and Languages in the government led by the late Sheila Dikshit.
The opening ceremony will also be attended by distinguished Special Guests, including Major General Anukul Chandra (Retd.), Mr Qazi Raghib, noted as an eminent Art Director and Art Critic, and Mr Ajay Samir, a celebrated visual artist.
One of the major highlights of the opening evening will be a live Indian classical music performance by internationally known musicians Amir Khan and Shabaz Khan, who will perform on the Sarangi and Tabla respectively. Amir Khan comes from a family of legendary musicians of the Moradabad Gharana and is the seventh generation of Sarangi players. He is also an ‘A’ graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and has performed successfully at music festivals in India, the United States, Europe, Australia, and Russia.
The exhibition will bring together a wide and diverse roster of participating artists. The list includes Shalini Sharma, Sunanda Mitra, Sohini Banerjee, Seema Bhargava, Tanuja Munakala, Naila Praveen, Asha Shetty, Drishyaa Duggal, Jyotsna Sharma, Rishita Kanchamreddy, Kanav Garg, Reshu Tyagi, Ragini Bhatia, Jay Gohil, Kalon Celeste, Abhirup Bhattacharjee, Sajal Srivastava, Avdhesh Kumar, Donindra Yengkhom, Shabnam Mehra, Surendra Kumar, and Tanishq Pratap Singh.
