Four of India’s Top Military Chiefs to Address Defence Symposium 2.0 at Techfest, IIT Bombay
Asia’s largest science and technology festival to host a landmark convergence of India’s defence leadership from December 22–24, 2025.
Mumbai, India: In a monumental moment for India’s defence and academic ecosystem, Techfest, IIT Bombay—Asia’s largest celebration of science and technology—is set to host the most formidable edition yet of Defence Symposium 2.0, bringing together four of India’s most distinguished military leaders for an exclusive lecture series slated from December 22 to 24, 2025.
Spearheading the symposium is General Anil Chauhan, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, the Chief of Defence Staff and the senior-most military advisor to the Government of India, widely regarded as the architect of India’s integrated theatre commands.
Joining him in this unprecedented congregation are three legendary former service chiefs—General Manoj Pande, 29th Chief of the Army Staff (Retd.); Admiral R. Hari Kumar, 25th Chief of the Naval Staff (Retd.); and Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhari, 27th Chief of the Air Staff (Retd.)—who together represent decades of strategic defence experience and battlefield leadership.
Their sessions will decode India’s evolving national security priorities, joint-force synergy, modern warfare dynamics, and the integration of frontier technologies in the armed forces.
