I.I.M.U.N. Delhi Conference 2026 to Mark 15 Years of Youth Leadership and Global Dialogue
Hon’ble Former Chief Justice of India D. Y. Chandrachud to grace three-day conference at Kunskapsskolan International School, Gurgaon
Gurugram, May 19, 2026: India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.), one of the world’s largest youth-led educational movements, is set to host the I.I.M.U.N. Delhi Conference 2026 from 22nd to 24th May 2026 at Kunskapsskolan International School. The conference comes as the organisation celebrates 15 years of inspiring leadership, diplomacy, and meaningful dialogue among students across the globe.
Founded in 2011, India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) has expanded its reach to more than 275 cities across 40 countries, impacting over 75 million students between the ages of 13 and 19 through debates, conferences, and educational initiatives aimed at nurturing future leaders.
The Delhi Conference 2026 will bring together young delegates from across the country to deliberate on contemporary global and national challenges through Model United Nations simulations, political discussions, and policy-driven committee sessions. The event aims to promote diplomacy, critical thinking, collaboration, and responsible leadership while continuing I.I.M.U.N.’s vision of “creating leaders without creating noise.”
A major highlight of the conference will be the presence of D. Y. Chandrachud, whose participation is expected to inspire students through insights on constitutional values, governance, civic responsibility, and the rule of law. His interaction with delegates is anticipated to encourage greater youth engagement in public affairs, law, and policymaking.
The three-day conference will commence with an Opening Ceremony on 22nd May at 4:00 PM, followed by extensive committee sessions on 23rd May. Proceedings on the final day will begin with a Yoga Session before concluding with the Closing Ceremony on 24th May at 4:00 PM.
This year’s conference will feature a diverse range of committees and agendas, including discussions on submarine cable security in the National Security Council, freedom of speech in India at the All India Political Parties Meet, progress towards “Viksit Bharat” at the Prime Minister’s Special Summit, and air pollution management in the Delhi Legislative Assembly. International issues such as Arctic resource tensions, feminism and SDG 5, the Geneva Convention, investigative journalism, influencer accountability, and even a Harry Potter-themed committee on the inclusion of Muggle-borns in wizarding institutions will also be explored.
Over the years, I.I.M.U.N. has hosted Heads of Nations, Nobel Laureates, diplomats, business leaders, and prominent personalities from across the world. Guided by an eminent advisory board featuring leaders such as Shashi Tharoor, Deepak Parekh, Karan Johar, P. T. Usha, and several former Chiefs of the Armed Forces, the organisation continues to strengthen its mission of empowering youth through dialogue and education.
As I.I.M.U.N. enters its 15th year, the Delhi Conference 2026 is expected to stand as a landmark celebration of leadership, diversity, diplomacy, and the transformative potential of young minds shaping a more united and informed world.
