IPF (Indian People’s Forum) Rajasthan Council launched in Dubai

Dubai, UAE. The India Club in Dubai witnessed the launch of the IPF Rajasthan Council on December 10, 2023, in the esteemed presence of Union Minister of India, Bhupender Yadav. The event, attended by the Consul General of India in Dubai, marked a significant step in fostering connections and support for the Rajasthani diaspora.

Indian People’s Forum (IPF) is a group open to all Indians irrespective of caste, creed, ethnicity or religion. It promotes unity, foster goodwill and cultural relation in the UAE and support the needy fellow Indians, and aims to provide a supporting link between Indian government missions and its citizens. IPF endeavors to build cultural ties between India and the UAE through our social engagement and uphold our reputation for honesty, magnanimity and professionalism.

Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, who also happens to be the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, was welcomed by the Rajasthan Council Committee, including Kesar Kothari, Dinesh Singhvi, General Secretary Ashish Garg, and Avinash Jagetia, and IPF National president Jitender Vaidya, lauded the efforts of the council in uniting the Rajasthani diaspora in Dubai for common welfare in the UAE and Rajasthan.

Convenor Kesar Kothari outlined the council’s vision to provide assistance and support to the Rajasthani diaspora in both the UAE and Rajasthan, emphasizing a commitment to community well-being.

The launch showcased the dedication and collaborative spirit of the Rajasthan Council, with leaders expressing optimism about its positive impact. The event concluded with gratitude for the Union Minister’s support.

The objective of forming IPF was to foster a peaceful, just and prosperous Indian community in UAE where diversity is valued and celebrated, cultural heritage is nurtured, preserved and enjoyed, keeping the hope of all Indians vibrant, inspired and empowered. It includes creating a platform for social and cultural activities involving different social groups from all over India, organizing events and activities for enriching socio-cultural life of Indian community, educate Indians in the United Arab Emirates to be respectful and uphold the dignity of India, and focusing on finding solutions to problems of concern arising in the Indian community from time to time and encourage spirit of mutual understanding and co-operation to retain a congenial and cordial relationship with our host nation.

The IPF also aims at promoting strong business relationship between UAE and India to strengthen co-operation and develop long lasting business relationships between the two nations, undertake any and all acts that are conducive to the welfare of the members and render legal and humanitarian assistance in genuine cases of such issues for Indians residing in UAE, and also support welfare activities for blue collared workers.
