The 2-day Ice Hockey Exhibition Play Off Games, also known as ‘Ice Hockey Spectacular’ will be held at iSKATE- ice skating rink & cafe located at Ambience Mall, Gurugram on October 27-28.
This will be the first time in seven years that The Ice Hockey Spectacular will be held in Gurgaon’s iSKATE.
The teams participating for this competitive event are Team Japan, Team iSKATE, Canada’s Sacred Bulls and Indo – Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
The first round of play offs will be held between Indo Tibetan Border Police and Canadian Sacred Bulls on October 27, the second round will happen between Team Japan and Team iSKATE. The winners emerging from both these matches will play the final round on October 28.
iSKATE has been a pioneer in hosting and representing winter games in India for the past seven years. Taking the endeavor forward, it has organized ‘The Ice Hockey Spectacular’, with the objective of introducing the game of ice hockey in India and providing a platform for the sport to grow.

Adding to the same, Sr. Coach Viv Gill, of ARV – Athletic Recreational Ventures USA said “These are exciting times at iSKATE. Most ice hockey teams are comprised of both men and women. Age does not seem to be a factor here, kids from their late teens to adults in their late thirties are participating and we are very excited to see the turnout.”
Situated on the 6th floor of Ambience Mall, Gurgaon iSKATE has been visited by 18 lakh ice skating enthusiasts till date for leisure as well as professional training sessions in winter sports such as ice skating and ice hockey. The ability to play winter sports all year around at iSKATE has made it extremely popular among youth, families and corporates across age groups.
