K-Food Fair 2026 to Bring Korean Flavours, Trade and Culture to Delhi-NCR
Four-day event will open with a business programme at Pullman Aerocity on July 30, followed by a public showcase at Ambience Mall, Gurugram, on August 1.
New Delhi/Gurugram: Korean food, business networking, and cultural performances will converge at the 2026 K-Food Fair in New Delhi, scheduled to be held at two prominent venues in Delhi-NCR from July 30 to August 2, 2026.
The fair will begin with a business-to-business segment at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity on July 30 and 31, followed by a consumer-oriented K-Food showcase at Ambience Mall, Gurugram, on August 1 and 2. The formal evening programme at Pullman Aerocity is scheduled to begin at 5.30 pm on July 30, while the public programme at Ambience Mall will be inaugurated at 3 pm on August 1.
Hosted by South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, the fair is being organised by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, popularly known as aT.
The four-day initiative is designed to promote Korean food products in India while creating direct commercial links between Korean exporters, Indian importers, distributors, retailers and other stakeholders in the food industry.
Business meetings to connect Korean exporters with Indian buyers: The B2B component will be held from 10 am to 5 pm on July 30 and 31 at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity. The programme will feature one-to-one business matching meetings involving around 30 Korean exporters and 50 prospective buyers.
Participating businesses will be able to explore sourcing, import, distribution and localisation opportunities in the Indian market. The business venue will also feature consultation booths, a K-Food collection zone, an open kitchen, an intellectual property support desk, and assistance with product localisation.
The initiative comes as Korean food continues to gain greater visibility among Indian consumers, particularly through the growing popularity of Korean entertainment, travel, restaurants and lifestyle products. The fair is expected to help Korean companies move beyond general consumer interest and build structured partnerships with Indian businesses.
Networking reception to feature industry and diplomatic representatives: An inaugural and networking programme will be held at Pullman Aerocity on the evening of July 30. The opening gathering is expected to bring together nearly 100 exporters, buyers, diplomats, industry representatives and representatives of organisations associated with Korea-India relations.
Among the dignitaries listed for the programme are Kyoungyong Byun, Managing Director of aT Bangkok Center; Chon Eui-jin, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in India; Amit Lohani, President of the Forum of Indian Food Importers; Professor Dr Kaushal Kumar of Jawaharlal Nehru University’s Centre for Korean Studies; and Sanjeev Ahuja, Founder of the Asian Community News Network.
The evening launch is scheduled to begin at 5.30 pm, followed by the formal MC-led proceedings from around 6 pm. The programme will include the introduction of VIP guests, an opening address by Kyoungyong Byun, welcoming remarks from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, a congratulatory address by Amit Lohani and remarks by Professor Dr Kaushal Kumar.
A K-pop performance will add a cultural element to the business gathering, followed by a ceremonial toast and a course-menu dinner.
The networking evening will also feature an interactive Kahoot game and lucky draw. Prizes listed for the game include a Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, a Dyson styling gift set and Samsung Galaxy Buds 3. The evening will conclude with an Indian cultural presentation featuring a Bhangra performance by The Bhangra Empire.
Public K-Food experience at Ambience Mall: After the business programme, the fair will move to Ambience Mall, Gurugram, where the B2C segment will be held from 11 am to 9 pm on August 1 and 2. The formal public launch is scheduled for 3 pm on August 1.
The consumer fair will allow visitors to discover and experience a wide range of Korean food products through promotional and sales booths, cooking demonstrations, tasting opportunities and interactive activities.
An open kitchen is expected to be among the major attractions, providing visitors with an opportunity to see how selected Korean dishes and food products are prepared and served. The event area will also host cultural and entertainment programmes, including K-pop and Taekwondo performances, alongside collaborative activities involving the Korea Tourism Organization.
By combining commercial meetings with a large public-facing food and cultural experience, the K-Food Fair aims to strengthen the presence of Korean food brands in India while helping Indian consumers develop a deeper understanding of Korea’s diverse culinary traditions.
The Delhi-NCR edition will therefore serve two complementary purposes: creating market opportunities for Korean exporters and offering Indian visitors a lively introduction to the flavours, products and cultural energy of contemporary Korea.
