NEW DELHI: Korea’s highly anticipated annual trade promotion event, Korea Fair in India 2023, has made a remarkable return, attracting a significant number of visitors eager to explore and purchase Korean products. The event serves as an invaluable platform for fostering connections between Indian and Korean companies while offering Indian consumers a chance to experience the diverse range of Korean merchandise.

Organized by the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the four-day KFI 2023 kicked off on June 1 and continued till June 4 at the esteemed Select Citywalk mall in Delhi. The fourth edition of KFI has witnessed a tremendous turnout, particularly over the weekend, as visitors flocked to the venue to indulge in a wide array of K-consumer products, including food and beverages, cosmetics, and daily utilities. Attendees had the unique opportunity to sample and test a diverse selection of K-food and K-cosmetics available at the specially curated stalls.

To motivate organizers and engage directly with exhibitors and attendees, Chang Jae-bok, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in India, visited the venue on June 1 with his presence. His visit further highlighted the significance of the event in strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cultural exchange between the two nations.

The participating companies exhibited their products included SEELA Infratech, Atomy India, IBC India (SamDaSoo Water), BRICS, Reliance, World E-bazar, Hancowell, Apothecare, Cosmos Enterprises, SK International, Mirabelle, GCDL, PICOCITY, Koindo/Korikart, Shoperr, and SASSY-KASSY/Carry Trading Company.

Notably, beyond the realm of K-Pop, Korean culture, cosmetics, and beauty products have resonated deeply with the Indian audience, leaving a lasting impact on individuals from all walks of life. Reflecting this growing inclination towards the K-World, the Korea Fair in India 2023 showcased an extensive range of K-consumer products, catering to the diverse preferences of Indian consumers.

This year’s edition of the fair holds special significance as it celebrates the Golden Jubilee of India-Korea Diplomatic Relations. The Korea Fair in India 2023 promises to be a grand affair, reflecting the longstanding friendship and collaboration between the two nations.
