SGT University Students’ hidden talent come to fore in Grand Finale of Talent@SGT

Gurugram: A cultural extravaganza was witnessed in the SGT University during the Grand Finale of Talent@SGT organised by the Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology recently.

As many as 29 students participated in this competition organised to offer a platform to them to showcase their talent.

Tejan Singh was adjudged first, Devarjun came second and Aditya third in the musical instrument category. In mono act/mime, Komal was in the first place, Ashutosh Kumar Singh in the second, and Girish at number three.

In the creative writing category, Mehak Bhardwaj stood first, Pravgunn Kaur second, and Naman Dixit third. In singing, Zamir Abbas was adjudged first, Devrun second, and Harshita third. The fifth category was for dancing, in which Akanksha stood first, Arsh Raj second, and Soumi third. In Poetry Rapping and Shayari category, Nikita bagged the first position, Hitendra came second, and Lok Bhadra Singh in the third position. The special title of Social Media King was given to Devansh and the special title of hooting was given to Muskan.

University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Dr. Navdeep Singh Tung, Dean Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology Professor Sushil Manav, Dean Student Welfare Professor Vijay Sharma and other members of the Faculty were also present in this program.

Judges for the Talent@SGT were Associate Professor in Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar Dr. Mihir Ranjan Patra, Script Writer, Director, Actor, and Acting Coach Nakshatra Bhardwaj, Experienced Passionate Dance Performer and the Educator Priyanka Dutta, HOD of Centre for Languages and Communication Dr. Sarju Devi, Piano and Guitar Specialist Pranay Khati and Dr. Bharti Raina from the university
