Vinod Gupta Appointed District President as Laghu Udyog Bharati Forms Gurugram Unit

Formation of Gurugram unit of Laghu Udyog Bharati brings together industrialists, entrepreneurs and social leaders to strengthen MSME representation and collective industry advocacy in Haryana’s industrial hub.

Gurugram, May 18, 2026: In a significant step aimed at strengthening the voice of micro, small and medium industrialists in Gurugram, Laghu Udyog Bharati formally constituted its Gurugram district unit on the occasion of the organization’s Foundation Day, appointing Vinod Gupta as the District President of Laghu Udyog Bharati, Gurugram.

The grand ceremony was organized at Rajvanshi Hotel in Gurugram, a city widely recognized as an industrial, cyber and global hub. The event witnessed the participation of prominent industrialists, entrepreneurs, social representatives and office bearers of the organization from across Haryana.

Along with Vinod Gupta as District President, Vinod Wadhwa was appointed General Secretary and Pawan Kumar Gupta assumed charge as Treasurer of the newly formed Gurugram unit. All office bearers formally took charge during the programme amid enthusiastic participation from members of the industrial fraternity.

Laghu Udyog Bharati, a national organization representing small and medium industries, currently has around 66,000 members, 1,100 units, and an organizational presence across 27 states and 581 districts of the country.

The programme was graced by Manoj Rungta, Provincial General Secretary, Haryana Province; Arun Bajaj, National Executive Member and Co-Incharge, Haryana Province; and Rakesh Gupta, Incharge of the Gurugram-Manesar Unit. The formation ceremony was conducted under the guidance of Arun Bajaj in what organizers described as an energetic and inspiring atmosphere.

Addressing the gathering, speakers emphasized the importance of collective efforts to safeguard and strengthen the interests of industries and entrepreneurs. They noted that the newly appointed office bearers have been associated with the industrial sector since 1971 and possess extensive understanding of industrial challenges and grassroots-level issues faced by entrepreneurs.

National Executive Member Arun Bajaj delivered a motivational address, urging industrialists to actively join Laghu Udyog Bharati and contribute collectively towards industrial growth and national development.

The ceremony was attended by several prominent representatives from industrial and social organizations, including Pawan Jindal, President of Daulatabad Road Industrial Association; Umesh Dwivedi, General Secretary of Daulatabad Industrial Association; Harish Gupta, Treasurer; Rajesh Agarwal, General Secretary of Vaishya Samaj Dharamshala, Gurugram; and Satyapal Kamboj, Convener Manesar and BJP Co-Convener “Mann Ki Baat” Sohna.

Ashok Kumar Gupta of Mark Exhaust System, along with several vendors associated with his company, also participated in the programme. Industrialists from various industrial clusters of Gurugram attended the event, including Gaurav Chhabra and Amit Sondhi from Kadipur; Navneet Goyal, Ravindra Jain and Dheeraj Bajaj from Sector-37; Rajesh Nehra from Railway Road; Dr. Yugal Kishore Upadhyay from Khandsa Road; Lav Jain from Gurugram city; and Devendra Kumar, Vinay Agarwal and Hitesh Gupta from Daulatabad Road Industrial Area.

Among the specially invited guests were BJP leaders R.K. Sharma, District Convener of the BJP District Industrial Cell, Gurugram Metropolitan, and Rajkumar Chauhan, District Co-Incharge of Bharatiya Janata Party, District Gurugram Metropolitan.

During the event, industrialists and attendees expressed gratitude to Raman Saluja, newly elected Haryana State President; Om Prakash Gupta, National General Secretary; Madhusudan Dadu, National President; and other senior office bearers of Laghu Udyog Bharati for establishing the Gurugram unit.

The programme commenced with Deep Prajwalan, followed by Vande Mataram and the organizational prayer. Distinguished guests were formally introduced before provincial office bearers shared detailed insights regarding the objectives, functioning and expansion plans of the organization.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem. Newly elected District President Vinod Gupta, in his concluding remarks, thanked industrialists, representatives of social organizations and distinguished guests for their support and participation in the formation of the Gurugram unit.
