Over 200 university students interviewed at Japanese Companies Job Fair at Amity campus

Four Japanese companies screened students for the job roles in the field of Management, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Architect, Design Construction Management, and Engineering.

NOIDA: A senior delegation from Sekisho Corporation and Ibaraki Prefecture of Japan led by Masaki Seki, President Sekisho Corporation visited Amity University in NOIDA on Saturday to host a Job Fair and provide employment opportunities to Amity students in Japanese companies.

The Japanese Companies Job Fair was organized at Amity University campus in which four companies from Japan including Sekisho Corporation (Corporate Planning, Mobility, DX), Sekisho Engineering, Kurakawa Co. Ltd., Nitto Electric Co., Ltd. (Nittocorp), participated. Over 200 university students were interviews in the areas of Management, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Architect, Design Construction Management, and Engineering.

Speaking about the reason behind Sekisho Corporation’s collaboration with Amity,. Masaki Seki, President, Sekisho Corporation, averred, “The main reason why we collaborated with Amity University is because in 2020, after the outbreak of Covid, our company approached various Universities but the response from Amity was phenomenal and welcoming. The warmth with which Amity welcomed us last time, has always remained in our heart and we are extremely delighted about this mutually beneficial partnership. Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, is very keen on having more Indians as part of its workforce since Indians have immense potential, exceptional qualities, and treat their customers as God.”

Talking about challenges, he further said that communication is the key to overcoming all challenges and every task should be approached with a positive mindset since no task is difficult and all problems can be solved through collaboration and communication.

“Amity also lays strong emphasis on imbibing human values in the students and encouraging them to become good human beings.” He further said that the future of a country belongs to the youth and sensitization of the youth is extremely important since when they visit a new country, they are new to the culture of that country and are unable to understand how to integrate their knowledge and skills with the work environment of the other country,” he added.

Highlighting the attributes of the youth, he further added, “The youth of India is highly adaptable, hardworking, passionate for success and extremely loyal to their organization with great values and high morals. This partnership will provide an opportunity to the youth to enhance their skills and knowledge.”

Dr. Chauhan suggested to conduct a case study for Amity’s management students about Sekisho Corporation completing 116 years so that they can learn about the factors responsible for establishing a strong organization, which can survive for more than 100 years and have employees working for a long time.
