20 Taiwanese Companies Showcased Smart Manufacturing Strength at AMTEX
Taiwan’s participation highlighted growing opportunities for cooperation with India in smart automation, precision engineering and advanced manufacturing.
Greater Noida, India: Twenty Taiwanese companies participated in AMTEX 2026, showcasing Taiwan’s wide-ranging capabilities in smart manufacturing, precision engineering and industrial automation.
The companies exhibited their technologies and products at the Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Pavilion during the four-day exhibition, held from July 24 to 27, 2026, in Greater Noida.
Recognised internationally for their outstanding quality, advanced technology and competitive value, the participating Taiwanese enterprises presented solutions covering several important areas of modern manufacturing. Their exhibits ranged from precision components and smart machinery to industrial control systems, automation technologies and integrated manufacturing solutions.
The pavilion offered Indian manufacturers, technology buyers and industry professionals an opportunity to explore Taiwan’s comprehensive smart manufacturing ecosystem. It also demonstrated how Taiwanese companies combined precision engineering, intelligent automation and system integration to help manufacturers improve productivity, reliability and operational efficiency.
Taiwan has established a strong global reputation in machinery, electronics, automation, information and communication technology, and precision components. At AMTEX 2026, the Taiwanese delegation highlighted how these capabilities could support the modernisation and digital transformation of India’s manufacturing sector.
The participation came at a time when India was accelerating its transition towards high-value manufacturing under the Make in India initiative. Indian industries were increasingly adopting automation, intelligent machinery and digitally connected production systems to improve their competitiveness in domestic and international markets.
This transformation created significant opportunities for cooperation between India and Taiwan. Taiwanese companies brought extensive expertise in smart machinery, industrial automation, precision manufacturing and advanced components, while India offered a large and rapidly expanding market supported by a strong industrial base and rising demand for new technologies.
The Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Pavilion also served as a business networking platform, enabling Taiwanese exhibitors to connect with potential Indian customers, distributors, manufacturers and technology partners. The interactions were expected to facilitate future partnerships in areas such as technology supply, industrial collaboration, system integration and local manufacturing.
Taiwan’s participation at AMTEX 2026 further reflected the growing importance of manufacturing and technology cooperation in Taiwan–India relations. With India strengthening its domestic manufacturing capabilities and Taiwan seeking deeper engagement with emerging markets, the two sides found considerable scope for mutually beneficial collaboration.
The exhibition demonstrated that cooperation between Taiwanese technology providers and Indian manufacturers could contribute to the development of more productive, precise and globally competitive manufacturing operations in India.
Through the collective presence of 20 companies, the Taiwan Smart Manufacturing Pavilion presented not only individual products and technologies but also Taiwan’s broader industrial strengths. It underlined the island’s ability to provide comprehensive solutions spanning precision components, intelligent machinery, industrial control and complete system integration.
The pavilion’s participation at AMTEX 2026 ultimately reinforced the potential for closer Taiwan–India cooperation in smart automation and precision manufacturing, two sectors expected to play an increasingly important role in the future growth of India’s industrial economy.
The delegation is led by the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association (TMBA), the Precision Machinery Research & Development Center (PMC), and the Taiwan Cutting-Tool Engineering Association (TACEA), around 20 Taiwanese companies jointly established the Taiwan Pavilion—marking Taiwan’s largest-ever presence at AMTEX.
