Gujarat to host 4-nation Asian Unity Golf Cup with participation from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, & India in January

To be organised by Asian Community News (ACN) Network, this 2-day event would also feature a high-level Asian Business & Investment Summit (ABIS) involving top representatives from four participating nations.

NEW DELHI: Encouraged by the enormous success of its “70th Anniversary India-Japan Friendship Golf Cup” hosted recently, the Asian Community News (ACN) Network has announced its plans to organize a four-nation “Asian Unity Golf Cup 2023” featuring golfers from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India to be held in Gujarat in January of next year. And another 50th Anniversary India-South Korea Friendship Golf Cup 2023, sometime in the middle of next year. To be played at India’s one of the best golf courses Kalhaar Blues & Greens Golf Club in Ahmadabad, the Asian Unity Golf Cup would witness the participation of top-notch corporate honchos and industry leaders from Japanese, South Korean, Taiwanese, and Indian firms, as well as diplomats and bureaucrats from the participating nations.

The two-day grand golfing event would also feature a high-level Asian Business & Investment Summit (ABIS) and networking session involving top industry leaders, and decision makers representing corporates as well as foreign trade-investment promotion bodies from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India.

Interestingly, Asian Unity Golf Cup 2023 coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Republic of Korea, which both nations are celebrating in the year 2023.

The 70th Anniversary India-Japan Friendship Golf Cup was supported by the Embassy of Japan, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), and the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII), and it witnessed the participation of 70 Japanese corporate executives including CMDs, MDs, Presidents, CEOs, etc., and diplomats as well as 40 senior executives from Indian companies, and top bureaucrats from state and the central government agencies.”

“The success of our previous golfing event has prompted us to organise a 4-nation Asian Unity Golf Cup in January next year in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In its event too, we plan to coordinate closely with the state government and its agencies as well as embassies, and trade promotion bodies of all four nations operating in India as the event would feature a high-level 4-nation Asian Business & Investment Summit (ABIS),” Mr. Ahuja added.

Going by the very nature of the 2-day golfing event, it would become imperative to take into confidence all major stakeholder agencies from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India.

These agencies include Economic wings of embassies, JETRO, JCCII, JNTO, Japan Foundation, KOTRA, KOCHAM, KITA, KTO, KOSMA, TAITRA, TECC, Taiwan Chamber of Business, and others.
