Bon Dance 2025 to Bring the Spirit of Japanese Summer Festival to Sakura Town, Gurugram

Gurugram (Hr), India – Sakura Town in Sector 48, Gurugram, is set to transform into a lively hub of Japanese culture and community as it hosts “Bon Dance 2025 – Japanese Festival” on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This annual Bon Odori (Bon Dance) festival, inspired by Japan’s centuries-old summer tradition of honouring ancestral spirits, invites visitors to come together in friendship, music, and dance. The event will take place at The Room, 2nd Floor, Central Park 2, Sakura Town, offering a full day of cultural activities, live entertainment, and authentic Japanese food experiences.
A Celebration of Culture and Togetherness: The Bon Dance festival will feature an exciting blend of traditional and modern performances, including a Japanese Budou demonstration, Bollywood dance, band music, and a yoga class—symbolising the harmony between Indian and Japanese cultures.
For children and families, there will be play activities such as shooting games, toss games, and yo-yo fishing, reminiscent of classic Japanese summer fairs.
Taste and Shop Japan: A food and beverage station will serve a variety of Japanese delicacies and festive treats, while a shopping area will showcase cosmetics, interior décor, jewellery, and traditional Japanese products. Visitors can also explore stalls offering Japanese food items and accessories.
The Bon Dance performances are scheduled in two stages—the first at 12:00 p.m. and the second at 5:00 p.m., allowing guests to join in the communal dance, a highlight of the festival that symbolises unity and gratitude.
