Celini is characterized by an abundance of delectable creations . Situated near the  upmarket commercial centre ( Bandra Kurla Complex) at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai, this is a major eating spot for hardcore Italian lovers . The flattery lighting , crisp white table cloth wooden tables with just the right amount of space and a classy open kitchen make the overall dining experience worthwhile.

A new menu is soon in place , as the menu here is seasonal , this restaurant solely believes in the usage of honest food techniques and the best possible ingredients. The menu consists of a variety of handcrafted dishes including some exceptional pasta options as well.

The house made pastas that are a must are , the mushroom ravioli , stuffed with mushroom ricotta , butter sage and mascarpone cream , capers and pink pepper , as well as the duck tortellini , that is filled with a luscious duck confit , garlic cream and leek crisps. Consistently packed this fine dining eatery , is truly a class apart from the other Italian hubs in town. If you’re looking for an excellent pairing with your meal , then this is just the place , Celini boasts of an impressive beverage menu and wine list.

A beautiful beetroot appetizer to begin with.

Portions here are generous in size and are a definite feast for the eyes too. The chefs out here have revamped the old Italian classics to keep up with the modern trends. The Ossobuco is a brilliant selection for your main course , the lamb has been slow cooked for a good twelve hours , garnished with gremolata and served alongside a delicious saffron risotto.

As a diner you can watch the pizzas being fired and coming fresh out of the artisanal oven straight to your table once you place in an order. The desserts here are outstanding , my personal favourite is the tiramisu that they do , the flavours are well balanced , the perfect amalgamation of coffee , whipped cream  , egg yolk enriched mascarpone and savoiardi biscuits.

MUST TRY : Beetroot Ravioli and the Porcini Risotto
