iPhone maker Foxconn, drone producer TAISYS, food champion HOYA among 107 cos. to participate in Taiwan Expo 2025
Taiwanese firms bring Smart Manufacturing, Smart Tech, Green Innovation and Wellness to Bharat Mandapam, Sept 25–27.
New Delhi, India – The iPhone maker Foxconn, drone producer TAISYS, and food champion HOYA are among 107 Taiwanese companies set to participate in Taiwan Expo 2025 in India, the flagship platform for Taiwan–India trade ties.
The three-day show will run September 25–27 at Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), Hall 1, spotlighting four themes—Smart Manufacturing, Smart Technology, Green Innovation and Wellness Fiesta.
At a pre-expo press conference held today in New Delhi, representatives of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) in India, the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and leading industry bodies attended, with support from FICCI, EEPC, TPCI and ELCINA.
Organisers positioned the Expo as a catalyst for technology partnerships, supply-chain localisation and market entry for Taiwanese brands in India.
Keven Cheng, Deputy Executive Director at TAITRA, said that amid tariff headwinds and global supply-chain realignments, India’s vast domestic market, talent depth, and strategic location have made it an indispensable manufacturing hub for Taiwanese enterprises.

Since its launch in 2018, Taiwan Expo has been staged for eight consecutive years, delivering concrete outcomes in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing, ICT and smart machinery.
Adding momentum, Yu-Chi Chen, Executive Director of TECC’s Economic Division, noted that Taiwan–India bilateral trade hit a record USD 10.6 billion in 2024, while the number of Taiwanese companies investing in India has more than tripled since 2017 to over 250—evidence of a deepening, mutually reinforcing industrial value chain.
A preview of exhibitor highlights underscored the show’s breadth: Advantech will present industrial PCs; Zyxel will showcase security routers and access-point solutions; Proscend Communications will exhibit industrial IoT routers and switches; and IPEVO will bring video-collaboration devices.
TAISYS Technologies will unveil a newly developed drone, signalling Taiwan’s cross-domain innovation. Notably, Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn)—already expanding its India footprint—has confirmed participation.
To tap India’s consumer opportunity, the Expo will be held concurrently with World Food India, the country’s largest food exhibition. A Taiwan Select Food Pavilion will feature A-Sha Foods’ premium air-dried noodles, HOYA Next Meats’ plant-based jerky and meal kits, and DR. Diary Co., Ltd.’s instant boba milk tea kits, all previewed at today’s briefing.
This year’s edition will welcome first-time entrants to India alongside established Taiwan-origin players scaling local operations. Over three days, buyers and partners from electronics, machinery, telecom, mobility, energy, healthcare, retail and F&B are expected to engage with Taiwanese suppliers on smart factories, ICT components, sustainability tech, wellness products and more—setting the stage for new deals, joint ventures and long-term supply-chain linkages between Taiwan and India.
