In an exclusive interaction with the Asian Community News Network (ACN Network) at BeautySum India 2025 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, he spoke candidly to Editor-in-Chief Sanjeev K. Ahuja.

“I have been living in India for about two years now, ever since 2023. Jimmi Jimmi Aaja Aaja was officially my first song here. Then I got a break in Bigg Boss. Now I have a handful of offers from both Bollywood and Tollywood. Currently, I am working on many projects such as a Tanishk song, a Tamil movie, and also an action series,” said Aoora, whose original Korean name is Park Min Jun.

When asked to specifically mention the projects he was working on, Aoora politely declined, saying that it was a secret.

Speaking about his fondness for the Indian audience, Aoora said his love for India was incredible and that Indian people are warm-hearted. “I love Indian people, their culture, movies, and music. People here are charming. In fact, I want to marry an Indian girl. I am also learning Hindi casually, but will soon take up a more serious format of Hindi language learning,” he disclosed.

While discussing his motive behind Kimchi Dosa, Aoora said, “Food and music are two things that connect people beyond borders. With Kimchi Dosa, I wanted to show how Korea and India, though different, are beautifully similar when celebrated together. It’s a track to make you dance, smile, and feel connected.”

On August 30, Aoora set the stage on fire with his scintillating performances at BeautySum India at Yashobhoomi. With favourites Kimchi Dosa and Jimmi Jimmi Aaja Aaja, he left the audience spellbound, freely interacted with fans, and posed for selfies. A select audience who had registered for his show at the venue was also offered an opportunity to have photos with him on stage.

Organised by Korea’s Number 1 expo management company, MESSE ESANG, BeautySum India 2025 hosted a fan meeting with India’s popular K-performance influencer Aoora, alongside 100+ micro and nano influencers.

At a Mathura performance, he sang “Woh Kisna Hai” in Hindi, leaving audiences awe-struck and affirming his affection for Indian music and culture.

Aoora’s connection with India deepened in reality TV, where he became the first Korean participant in the hit show Bigg Boss 17. There, his mix of Korean charm and infectious enthusiasm resonated with a broad Indian audience. He later graced the stage of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, further expanding his footprint in the Indian entertainment landscape.
