Kolkata, India – Kikkoman India is set to host its 3rd Annual Kikkoman Culinary Experts Meetup on March 12, 2025, at the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Taratala, Kolkata. The prestigious event will bring together top culinary professionals, restaurateurs, and industry experts from across India to discuss evolving trends, innovative cooking techniques, and the role of naturally brewed soy sauce in professional kitchens.

The meetup is part of Kikkoman’s broader efforts to support the hospitality and food service industry (HORECA) in India by promoting the ‘Kikkoman Honjozo Authentic Soy Sauce Experience’—an initiative designed to educate chefs about traditional soy sauce brewing techniques and its versatility in different cuisines.
Culinary Experts Meetup: A Hub for Knowledge Exchange: The Kikkoman Culinary Experts Meetup has evolved into a major industry event, fostering discussion on market trends, innovations, and the growing demand for authentic Asian flavors in India. The 2025 edition will feature panel discussions, live cooking demonstrations, and networking sessions, offering attendees an opportunity to learn from leading chefs and industry pioneers.

The competition, focused on Chinese cuisine, will see professional chefs from across India prepare a three-course meal using Kikkoman Soy Sauce. Teams will be judged on:

- Creativity in dish preparation
- Technical skill and presentation
The contest aims to elevate Chinese cuisine in India and highlight how naturally brewed soy sauce can enhance the complexity of flavors in a professional kitchen.
