Held on August 30, 2025, the event set a benchmark for international education gatherings in North India, positioning the school as a leading choice for families seeking world-class, future-ready schooling.

Nestled amid the lush greens of the low-rise Aravali mountain chain, King’s College UK, Gurugram, functions as a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Programme and aspires to secure IB World School authorisation as part of its long-term vision. The school commenced its first academic session (2025–26) in July this year.

The Open House was led by veteran German educator and Head Master Dirk Leidinger, who emphasised the importance of cross-cultural exchange and global citizenship. Managing Trustee Ankit Jain also attended the event, interacting with students and addressing their queries.

The event opened with a musical performance by the students, serving as the first open interface between parents and the school’s management and staff.

In his introductory address, Leidinger described the Open House as “an opportunity to understand and interact with each other for better coordination.” Acknowledging the staff as the backbone of the institution, he invited them to introduce themselves to the parents. Several parents also clarified queries about the school’s academic and non-academic services.

Managing Trustee and the top management interacted freely with the parents.

The programme included guided campus tours, interactive classroom demonstrations, and Q&A sessions with faculty and staff—covering all departments from front desk and transport to security, human resources, accounts, marketing, and admissions.

Parents praised the event for its transparency, welcoming atmosphere, and hands-on insights into school life and services. Students expressed enthusiasm for the school’s comprehensive learning modules, extracurricular opportunities, and global exchange programmes that reflect the King’s College philosophy.

Attendees also explored the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including arts and sports centres, tech-enabled classrooms, a discovery room, and a modern library—all designed to foster innovation and holistic learning. The school atrium has been fully air-purified, providing a pollution-free environment inside the building.

The event introduced King’s College’s internationally recognised curriculum, based on the IB model, which prepares students for IGCSE, A Levels, and the IB Diploma.

King’s College UK, Gurugram, aims to nurture leadership, creativity, and resilience through a blend of British pedagogy and global best practices. Its first academic year combines rigorous academics with a commitment to students’ emotional and social well-being, supported by strong pastoral care.

The school promises a diverse faculty of international and Indian educators, collaborating to provide students with a rich, balanced learning environment.
