Korean Ambassador visits Raj Ghat, Gandhi Museum in Delhi

New Delhi: After presenting his letter of credence to the President of the Republic of India, Ram Nath Kovind, the South Korean Ambassador in India Chang Jae-bok visited Raj Ghat in New Delhi today and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi – also known as the father of the nation India.

Raj Ghat is a memorial holding the remains of the Mahatma where millions of visitors from across the world have paid their respects over the years.

In July 2018, South Korean President Moon Jae-in visited the memorial and paid his respects during his official trip to India.

Ambassador Chang also visited the National Gandhi Museum and met with the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi and Chairperson of the museum, Mrs. Tara Gandhi Bhattacharjee.

They discussed the relevance of Gandhi’s teachings on non-violence and peace in today’s times.
