New Delhi, India – Art enthusiasts in the capital are experiencing an unusual and highly interactive form of contemporary art from Taiwan. Titled “Are You Human?”, the AI-driven technology art exhibition explores the increasingly complex relationships between humans, technology and the public sphere in contemporary society. Open to the public at KHOJ until 28 February, the exhibition addresses key questions of the post-human era — including ethics, perception and power structures — through immersive installations, artificial intelligence-based interactive systems and kinetic artworks.

Taiwanese technology art collectives Dimension Plus and Simple Noodle Art have brought their works to New Delhi as part of the exhibition and international symposium organised by the KHOJ International Artists’ Association. The exhibition was inaugurated on 30 January by Ambassador Dr. Chen Mu-min.

An official satellite event of India Art Fair 2026, the exhibition marks the first comprehensive presentation of Taiwanese technology art in South Asia under a curated framework.

Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, the exhibition highlights Taiwan’s strengths in technology manufacturing, digital culture and interdisciplinary artistic practice. The participating teams present technology art that combines technical innovation with critical humanistic inquiry.

Dimension Plus is showcasing two works. VS AI Street Fighting uses text-to-image artificial intelligence to simulate real-time confrontations between humans and AI in public spaces, revealing evolving power dynamics between creators and algorithms in the future content industry.

Ecological Pool employs AI-driven algorithms and mechanical systems to create a continuously evolving and vanishing digital life ecosystem, encouraging reflection on the meaning of “life” under technological conditions.

Simple Noodle Art presents Exploration and Exploitation, an AI-interactive film that changes its narrative in real time according to viewers’ emotional responses, examining the structural relationship between recommendation algorithms, content production and social polarisation.

In addition to the exhibition, Tsai Hung-Hsien, Director of Dimension Plus, delivered a keynote presentation at the international symposium held from 31 January to 2 February, engaging in dialogue with artists, curators, and scholars from around the world on how technology is reshaping human subjectivity and public space

Founded in 1997, the KHOJ International Artists’ Association is one of South Asia’s leading contemporary art non-profit organisations, known for its commitment to experimental art and interdisciplinary exchange. The exhibition also features artists from the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Portugal and Japan, creating a platform with strong academic depth and international visibility.

The participation of Taiwanese artists highlights the global maturity of Taiwan’s technology art sector and lays the groundwork for deeper long-term collaboration between Taiwan and India in new media art, digital culture and technology ethics.
