DENSO Donates Two Fire Tenders to Haryana Government Under CSR Initiative
Gurugram, India – DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd., a leading Japanese automotive multinational based in IMT Manesar, reinforced its commitment to community welfare by donating two fire tenders to the Government of Haryana on September 4, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The handover ceremony, organised by HSIIDC, was graced by the Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini and the Industry Minister, Rao Narbir Singh. The event also highlighted the state’s initiatives to strengthen collaboration between start-ups and industry leaders.
At the inauguration, Masato Kitamae, Managing Director; Pushpender Dahiya, Vice President; Katsuhito Akaba, Director; and Prakash, DGM–Safety, symbolically presented the cut-out keys of the fire tenders.
Speaking on the occasion, Pushpender Dahiya emphasised DENSO’s long-standing commitment to societal development. “Year after year, we continue to undertake initiatives that contribute to the welfare of the community. This year, through the donation of two fire tenders, we aim to strengthen community safety and emergency preparedness,” he said.
In April this year, DENSO Haryana had undertaken two comprehensive infrastructure development projects at Government schools in Naharpur-Kasan and Dadri Toye, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to community development and educational advancement in the region.
The dual CSR initiatives, rolled out with active participation from DENSO’s senior leadership and local administrative representatives, targeted critical infrastructure upgrades at the Government Senior Secondary School, Naharpur-Kasan, and the Government Primary School, Dadri Toye and Ramgarh Dhani. These efforts are poised to benefit more than 3,300 students across both campuses.
Previously, in July last year, DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd. demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by donating 17 battery-operated tricycles on July 5, 2024. This initiative, aimed at supporting healthcare and aiding the weaker sections of society, was carried out with the support of the Red Cross Society and in the presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, Hitesh Kumar.
