The holder of the 100-Man Kumite title with 108 fights, he has won 6 awards from Japan, 2 from Germany, 1 from Malaysia, and the Grand Master of the Year (2 Times), and International Hall of Fame (10 Times). He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the God Blessed Warrior Award, World Martial Arts Icon, Father of Real Combat Karate, God of Real Combat Karate, Black Belt 10th Dan, and the Hanshi Title from Japan.

The latest awards from Brazil recognise his extraordinary global achievements, lifelong dedication to martial arts, and his outstanding contributions to the promotion and development of martial arts worldwide.

The Federação Alagoana de Muaythai e Artes Marciais (FAMTAM) Award

With this recognition, Hanshi Shaswat Kumar has created history and set a world record by becoming the first martial artist ever to receive the highest number of international awards in martial arts history. He has already been honoured with almost every major international martial arts award in the world—an achievement unmatched by any other martial artist.

This phenomenal achievement officially makes Hanshi Shaswat Kumar the fastest martial artist in the world in backfist punching speed.

Early Life and Journey: Hanshi Shaswat Kumar was born in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where he completed his early education at Saraswati Sisu Vidya Mandir, BDA Ugup School, and later at Govt High School, Phase 2, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.

Due to his father’s government service, the family later moved to Hyderabad, where he pursued higher studies at Hindi Maha Vidyalaya, Nallakunta.

During his college years, he was an active member of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), where he learned military discipline, drills, and tactics. This experience, combined with his Karate training, helped him strengthen his physical and mental abilities, shaping him into a warrior of unmatched resilience.

Struggles and Triumphs: Hanshi Shaswat Kumar’s journey was not without challenges. The politics within Indian Karate deeply disappointed him, and when he introduced Senkoukai Karate, not a single Indian Karate organisation supported him.

Yet, relying solely on his hard work, discipline, and self-belief, he rose to international fame and earned respect across the world.

Today, Senkoukai Karate is recognised as an independent international Karate style, with branches established in more than 30 countries. This marks the first time in history that an Indian Karate style has achieved such global recognition and acceptance.

Legacy and Global Impact: Hanshi Shaswat Kumar is now regarded as one of the greatest martial artists of all time, the record-holder for the highest number of international martial arts awards in history, and the world’s fastest backfist puncher.

Through Senkoukai Karate, he has dedicated his life to India, ensuring that the nation’s name shines brightly in the global martial arts community. His innovations, achievements, and service to martial arts have immortalised him as a true legend of combat sports.
