Japanese Autumn Matsuri Utsav brings authentic Japanese experience in Gurugram on Oct 11
Happening in Gurugram for the first time, the community market will feature food, fashion, crafts, and family activities with over a dozen exhibitors at Star Mall and AJU’s Family Dining restaurant.
Gurugram, India – The AJU Japanese Hotel has announced the much-awaited Japanese Autumn Matsuri Utsav, a vibrant community market bringing together a variety of culinary delights, artisanal products, and family-friendly experiences – all in Japanese style.
Interestingly, Gurugram is going to host this kind of festival for the first time. The event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Star Mall’s outdoor plaza and AJU’s Family Dining space.
This year’s Marché will welcome a diverse group of exhibitors. Visitors will be able to enjoy desserts by Frangipani, rice delicacies from Musubi, and refreshing teas presented by Chiran Tea. Fashion lovers can look forward to the unique styles of Kaseyyaka, while Main Dish will serve gourmet offerings.
Speciality food and beverages will be available through Hasuno Shizuku. Handcrafted goods from Ariake-do, fresh produce from Tomato Project, and community-driven initiatives by Team Mother will add further variety. Speciality coffees from Kuro Café will complement the rich lineup, while CALICO will showcase the art of Indian village fabric. The black stone pottery will be another attraction.
Earlier, Gurugram which is known as the favourite destination and home for the Japanese community, has played host to a series and variety of Japanese events such as Japanese food festival, golf events etc.
“But it is for the first time that we are bringing the authentic Japanese street market concept, exhibiting the true Japanese lifestyle. The visitors here can enjoy Japanese desserts, rice delicacies, green tea, unique styles of Kaseyyaka, speciality food and beverages, handcrafted goods, a variety of coffees, and Indian village fabric as well as black stone pottery, ” said Prakash Yadav, Founder & MD, Aju Group of Japanese Hotels
The Japanese Autumn Matsuri Utsav is designed as a lively celebration of food, culture, and craftsmanship, aiming to connect the community with the hotel’s valued business partners.
Families and visitors can look forward not only to delicious food and artisan products but also to interactive experiences, including AJU’s special activity of a “Fruit Basket Giveaway” for participants.
