Like many Korean brands, ATOMY to be a household name in India: Korean Assn Prez Lee Kwang-il
Expanding its footprint globally, Atomy India has announced the launch of global exports of Indian Ayurvedic products as a part of Global Sourcing Global Sales (GSGS) strategy directly from India.
Gurugram, India – As Korea and India celebrate over 70 years of ties, their relationship is rooted in a shared cultural legacy that dates back over two millennia, symbolized by the legendary journey of Princess Heo Hwang-ok from Ayodhya to Korea. Today, the bond between the two nations is stronger than ever, as evident in the deep integration of Korean brands, such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and Kia, into Indian households.
Lee Kwang-il, Chief Representative for South-West Asia at the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council and Chairman of the Korean Association in India, made this statement during his congratulatory address at the Atomy India Success Academy & Carnival, held on May 30, 2025, in Gurugram.
Mr. Lee stated that, among these trusted names, Atomy India, led by Dr. Abraham Lee, has emerged as a fast-growing and promising success story in India. He added, “With its unique mission of delivering quality products at affordable prices, Atomy has not only won consumer trust but is also establishing itself fast as a household name—echoing its global success across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Its rapid growth and localization efforts have led to plans for exporting Indian-manufactured products, starting with Singapore and expanding globally, highlighting India’s role in Atomy’s global supply chain.”
Present on the occasion were Donghyun Kim, Regional Director of KOTRA South Asia; Young Yoon, Branch Director of the Korean International Trade Association (KITA) in India; and Seong Heum Park, Chairman of the Korea SMEs Association in India (KOSMA).
